Acknowledgement of Country

The Women’s Domestic Violence Court Assistance Service main office is on Kaurna Country, and we acknowledge Kaurna people’s continuing spiritual relationship with Country and custodianship of this land. We pay our respect to Kaurna Elders past present and emerging. We also acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the various lands on which we travel and work to assist women, and acknowledge First Nations peoples’ continuing custodianship of Country.

Diversity and Inclusion

The Women’s Domestic Violence Court Assistance Service recognises that women who experience domestic and family violence can come from a wide range of diverse backgrounds. We understand that people from diverse backgrounds, including from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds (CALD) and people within the LGBTQIA+ communities, may face additional barriers in reporting abuse and seeking support. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive service that is respectful to all women in South Australia.
